At 4 C Marketing, we are proud to be supporting this Home-Start South East Dorset campaign to raise vital funds for local Dorset families this Christmas, and every Christmas.
For 25 years, Home-Start South East Dorset has supported local, vulnerable and disadvantaged families with young children in Poole, Bournemouth, Christchurch, Purbeck, South & East Dorset through challenging times. Now they need help more than ever.
Coronavirus has placed the greatest strain on all families. Those who are already vulnerable, isolated, facing financial hardship, disability and mental health challenges have been hardest hit.
Home-Start South East Dorset has been working hard to continue to support families. Help includes one-to-one volunteer support, weekly support groups and wellness walks. But they can’t do all of this alone. They need our support.

Abi from Wimborne in Dorset was supported by Home-Start after crippling anxiety left her unable to leave the house with her new twins.
“I was diagnosed with anxiety and depression before I gave birth to my twin girls, but after they arrived things got much worse and I found everything extremely overwhelming. I got anxiety about lots of different things but the main one for me was about getting out and about with the girls and meeting new people.
My health visitor referred me to Home-Start and my volunteer Anne started visiting once a week.
Since being supported by Anne and Home-Start South East Dorset, my life has completely changed. I was left feeling completely isolated but now I have the confidence to get and out about. Although certain times can still be challenging, I’m enjoying my girls and being a mum more than ever”.
How you can help
It costs the charity approximately £33.25 per week to support a family with specialist one-to-one volunteer support. With your pledge of support, you can make sure that visit takes place. You’ll be making a positive and significant difference to the course of a child’s life.
