After five and a half years based in leafy Hartley Wintney in Hampshire, 4 C Marketing decided to move to the seaside! We arrived in Mudeford near Christchurch in Dorset in January this year. It was certainly a busy first few months getting settled into a new home (whilst doing a major renovation on it).
We aimed to maintain client service at all times during the move, thanks to the wonders of broadband. We’re now just about coming through the other side and looking forward to getting out networking locally and meeting lots of local businesses in our area.

North East Hampshire was certainly a great place to set up and run a business. We found a hugely supportive local business community, through networking meetings in Fleet, Farnham and beyond. Athena groups in Fleet & Reading were welcoming. We enjoyed breakfast with Farnham Business Club, and lunch with Connecting Biz. Our favourite meeting was Coffee & Connect in Hartley Wintney itself. This monthly meeting was always well attended by almost 50 local businesses. Aside from its scale, it was also a welcoming and supportive group with many regulars who had known each other for years.

But the time seemed right to relocate to the beach and realise the dream of living by the sea.

Networking meetings in Christchurch, Dorset and beyond
